Voidr AI Bot brings intelligent test automation directly into Slack. It runs tests across your environments 24/7, catches regressions before your users are affected, and delivers real-time alerts with AI-powered root cause analysis.

When something breaks, Voidr tells you what changed, why it broke, and how to fix it — all without leaving Slack. No manual test maintenance required: self-healing keeps your test coverage current as your product evolves.

• Test executions — Query running and completed test executions, view results, and trigger new runs
• Failure analysis — Get AI-powered root cause analysis with pattern detection across test failures
• Defect tracking — Create, view, and track defects directly from Slack conversations
• Monitoring — Check synthetic monitoring status, schedules, and environment health
• Reports — Generate quality summaries, execution reports, and trend analysis on demand
• Pipeline alerts — Receive real-time notifications when tests fail in your CI/CD pipeline
• Session replay — Access user session recordings linked to test failures

Once installed, Voidr AI Bot appears in your workspace. You can interact with it in three ways:

• Direct messages — Send a DM to Voidr AI Bot for private conversations about your test results and quality metrics
• Channel mentions — Mention @Voidr AI Bot in any channel to ask questions in context
• Thread replies — Reply to pipeline notification threads to ask follow-up questions with full alert context

Pipeline and monitoring notifications are delivered to your configured channel in real time. The bot responds with rich Block Kit messages including structured data, action buttons, and links back to the Voidr platform for detailed views.

Voidr AI Bot is installed through the Voidr platform. You need an active Voidr account to connect the bot to your Slack workspace.

1. Sign in to the Voidr platform at app.voidr.co
2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Slack
3. Click 'Connect to Slack' — this will redirect you to Slack to authorize the bot
4. Authorize the requested permissions for your workspace
5. Select a notification channel where pipeline alerts will be delivered
6. Send a message to the bot or wait for your first pipeline alert

Voidr AI Bot requests only the permissions it needs to function:

• Read messages in channels it's added to — to respond to questions and thread replies
• Send messages — to deliver notifications, responses, and reports
• Read channel info — to identify where to send notifications
• Read user info — to personalize responses and attribute actions
• React to messages — to confirm receipt of commands

The bot does not access messages in channels it has not been added to, and does not read or store private channel information.
