When enabled, Voidr AI Bot brings critical-journey signals, execution evidence, and related change context into Slack.
Teams can see where to investigate, connect a deviation with recent changes, and decide the next action without losing the conversation context. Conclusions remain reviewable by people.
What you can do
- Test executions: Query running and completed test executions, view results, and trigger new runs
- Failure analysis: Get likely-cause hypotheses and patterns found in the available evidence
- Defect tracking: Create, view, and track defects directly from Slack conversations
- Monitoring: Check synthetic monitoring status, schedules, and environment health
- Reports: Generate quality summaries, execution reports, and trend analysis on demand
- Pipeline alerts: Receive real-time notifications when tests fail in your CI/CD pipeline
- Session replay: Access user session recordings linked to test failures
How it works
Once installed, Voidr AI Bot appears in your workspace. You can interact with it in three ways:
- Direct messages: Send a DM to Voidr AI Bot for private conversations about your test results and quality metrics
- Channel mentions: Mention @Voidr AI Bot in any channel to ask questions in context
- Thread replies: Reply to notifications to ask follow-up questions with context connected to the alert
Depending on configuration, pipeline and monitoring notifications are delivered to the selected channel. The bot may include structured data, available actions, and links to detailed evidence in the Voidr platform.
Setup
Voidr AI Bot is installed through the Voidr platform. You need an active Voidr account to connect the bot to your Slack workspace.
- Sign in to the Voidr platform at app.voidr.co
- Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Slack
- Click 'Connect to Slack'. You will be redirected to Slack to authorize the bot
- Authorize the requested permissions for your workspace
- Select a notification channel where pipeline alerts will be delivered
- Send a message to the bot or wait for your first pipeline alert

Permissions
Voidr AI Bot requests only the permissions it needs to function:
- Read messages in channels it's added to: respond to questions and thread replies
- Send messages: deliver notifications, responses, and reports
- Read channel info: identify where to send notifications
- Read user info: personalize responses and attribute actions
- React to messages: confirm receipt of commands
Bot access is limited to permissions authorized in the workspace. Scopes, retention, and data processing follow the configuration and applicable terms.
